About Lindsay

 

 

Lindsay is a Central Coast native.  She has 22 years of dance technique and training and has been teaching since she was 17.  After graduating from University of California, Santa Barbara, she moved to Los Angeles and managed a successful dance studio.  After a few years she returned to the Central Coast to focus on her passion for teaching.  Lindsay completed her first yoga teacher training (RYT 200) in 2015, and recently completed a specialized training 200 hour program designed by a physical therapist. Lindsay's style of teaching yoga is fun and  functional with an emphasis on making classes accessible for many different levels.

Aside from dance and yoga, Lindsay also teaches Musical Theater, Music and other Performing Arts classes.  She began teaching Musical Theater classes with her mom when she was still in high school and they have continued to teach together over the years.  They now, along with her sister,  have a program called "Creative Kids Performing Arts". Creative Kids teaches musical theater and other performing arts classes and camps for kids on the Central Coast, as well as writing, creating and producing original children's music and plays for teachers, parents and children.

 

Lindsay is a lover of music, and can be heard on a few albums with various bands and groups she's been a part of. She enjoys playing piano and guitar and fiddling around on the ukulele and drums. She lives on the Central Coast with her husband, Ben and their dog, Winston.
